The Banality of Evil

Infant circumcision is the same phenomenon, of course… as expressed by Hannah Arendt when she observed ‘the banality of evil’ while reporting on the trial of Adolf Eichmann in Jerusalem, in 1962. In this case it is Nazism for Newborns that is the evil that has found its ease among us. I don’t care what clothes Monotheists wear, or food they eat, or dance or work they do. Even to say ‘Monotheist’ makes it sound like a choice one must make while queuing at a donut counter.
The documentary about all Circumcisers will look just like the recent Final Account by Luke Holland. But Germans are human again, and so, it is possible to recover. But they sure as shit had to get pounded. It is a matter of comprehension to note that infant circumcision is Nazism for Newborns (God does not demand partial child sacrifice at threat of tribal expulsion, even if warlords do). It is this genocide of soma & psyche that has been fought for 3200 years. The fight does not start when it is realized. That is when it is joined.

“What we regard as Evil is capable of a fairly ubiquitous presence if only because it tends to appear in the guise of good.”
Joseph Brodsky
